Mohamed Ali is Assistant Professor of Education at Middle Tennessee State University for the last three years. He has taught for University of Phoenix from 2003-2007, Grand Canyon University from 2005-2006. He has taught and supervised in elementary and middle schools in Kenya for over fifteen years.
Mohamed has published in academic journals such as the National Social Studies and Urban Studies. His current publications include: Fragmented Lives and Conflicting Experiences in Refugee Students (2008), A Study of Teachers’ Views of Professional Development in Southeastern Ohio (2004) and Historical Evolution of Professional Development & Teachers’ Practice: Issues & Concerns (2003).
